Job summary

Dade Electric Service is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects across South Florida. You will manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, materials, and client communications to deliver safe, on-time, and on-budget results.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in electrical project management, strong knowledge of commercial systems, and proven leadership and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with construction management and scheduling software.
• Experience with Bluebeam or similar construction document management software.
• Experience working on municipal infrastructure or wastewater treatment plant projects.
• Experience in commercial, institutional, or industrial electrical construction.
• Knowledge of medium-voltage and low-voltage systems.
• Electrical license or construction management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
• Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with engineers, general contractors, architects, and inspectors.
• Oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
• Manage subcontractors, field supervisors, and installation crews.
• Monitor project costs, change orders, and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and applicable codes.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
• Conduct project meetings and provide updates to leadership.
• Ensure jobsite safety standards and company safety policies are followed.
