Job summary

System One in Cayce, SC is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through completion. You will coordinate field operations, crews, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires at least five years of experience, strong reading of electrical plans, and proven bid and budget expertise. A Master Electrician certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five+ years managing multimillion-dollar commercial electrical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical construction and field experience.
• Experience estimating and bidding commercial electrical projects.
• Experience managing multiple crews, schedules, budgets, and material requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Master Electrician certification preferred.
• Attention to costs and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through completion
• Prepare estimates, bids, proposals, and project budgets
• Review plans, specifications, drawings, and project requirements
• Oversee multiple electrical crews on multimillion-dollar projects
• Coordinate field operations, manpower, subcontractors, and project resources
• Develop workflows, installation sequences, and project schedules
• Monitor project progress, labor costs, material usage, deadlines, and quality
• Manage material procurement, requisitions, deliveries, and jobsite needs
• Communicate with clients, general contractors, vendors, field leadership, and project stakeholders
• Identify and resolve scheduling, material, budget, and workflow issues
• Review change orders and modifications to the original project scope
• Ensure work complies with project specifications, electrical codes, and quality standards
• Enforce safety regulations and promote a strong workplace safety culture
• Maintain organized and accurate project documentation
