Job summary

SLB is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop and sustain innovative, cost-effective solutions and to support the achievement of project objectives. The role includes prototyping, lab simulations, and test design with documentation and customer presentations, while ensuring compliance with company standards.

The engineer will mentor junior engineers, contribute to design reviews, and maintain engineering documentation, staying current with new technical concepts and markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing or sustaining new or improved techniques, procedures or products.
• Ability to plan, conduct and evaluate approaches to meet project objectives in a timely fashion.
• Strong analytical and modeling capabilities for design conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and organizing requirements. Apply usability procedures and principles.
• Analyze, design, develop, maintain products and assist in their commercialization.
• Build prototypes, set up and run lab simulations, design and implement tests; document results and develop customer presentations.
