Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an experienced electrical modeling professional in Austin to lead the development of advanced BIM models and detailed drawings. You will serve as a technical resource for modeling standards and ensure designs meet codes and project requirements, collaborating closely with project engineers and field teams.

This role requires an Associate’s degree in electrical design or drafting and 4+ years in electrical modeling or coordination.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in electrical design, drafting, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 4+ years of experience in electrical modeling, detailing, or coordination required.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex electrical models and layouts using Revit, AutoCAD, Evolve and Navisworks.
• Review models for accuracy, constructability, and code compliance.
• Mentor other modelers on techniques and standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve coordination issues.
• Support prefabrication, material planning and field installation coordination.
• Document and implement modeling workflow improvements.
