Aspire Talent Solutions in Kinston, North Carolina is seeking a Senior Electrical Automation Technician for a 12-hour rotating schedule with night shift openings. You will enhance and maintain electrical control systems, drive automation solutions, and help shape the plant's long-term technological roadmap through collaboration with the automation team.

Your role includes securing automation infrastructure, backing up software, and applying expertise in electrical controls to improve processes

Qualifications

Associate's degree and 2+ years in a related field.
Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell automation required.
Programming experience is REQUIRED.
RSLogix 5000 experience.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Willingness to work 12-hour rotating nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

Decode complex electrical schematics and user manuals to troubleshoot equipment.
Resolve automation and robotics software issues to optimize processes.
Tackle PLC and touchscreen issues to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot control networking and servers with IT.
Identify and drive automation improvements.
Mentor maintenance technicians and create training materials.
Document and back up electrical and automation files.
Collaborate with management and engineering on projects.
