Job summary

CEMEX US is seeking an experienced Superintendent Electrical & Automation III to safeguard plant electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. You will design, program, simulate, and test PLC and HMI, start-up support, and document processes across PLC and automation domains.

The role requires proven PLC/HMI programming skills, solid electrical design knowledge, and prior cement plant exposure. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential, with availability for on-call

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, or Electronics engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in design/build/programming of ControlLogix PLC and HMI.
• Minimum 5 years electrical design and maintenance experience on MV/LV equipment.
• Experience in cement plants is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability of electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment.
• Lead design, commissioning, and performance improvements of automation systems.
• Supervise technicians and coordinate maintenance with plant staff.
• Develop preventive, predictive, and autonomous maintenance plans.
• Lead root cause analysis for major failures to prevent recurrence.
