Job summary

Timesavers LLC, a leading manufacturer of industrial sanding and finishing equipment in Maple Grove, MN, seeks an experienced Electrical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This is an experienced-level role requiring hands-on field wiring on large capital equipment.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years wiring complex machinery, can read schematics, and works independently to build, wire, troubleshoot, and test equipment to engineering specs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years wiring and field wiring on large industrial equipment or OEM capital equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
• Experience with electrical assemblies on industrial machinery and automation systems.
• Not entry-level; able to work independently with strong workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete electrical assembly and field wiring of large industrial machinery and capital equipment.
• Read, interpret, and follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, engineering drawings, and bills of material.
• Install, wire, and terminate motors, sensors, control panels, VFDs, relays, switches, PLC I/O devices, and other electrical components.
• Route, label, terminate, and secure wiring per engineering specs and standards.
• Perform point-to-point wiring, continuity checks, and electrical verification testing.
• Verify assemblies meet engineering specs before startup and assist with startup/commissioning.
