Job summary

Coperion in Whitewater, WI is seeking a Senior Electrical Assembler to diagnose, repair, and rebuild electronics for customer projects. The role leads complex assemblies and mentors junior technicians on new processes.

You'll perform wiring, component installation, soldering, harnessing, testing, and final system assembly, ensuring ISO compliance and on-time delivery. This shift is 1st shift, with a collaborative team and opportunities to influence large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in electrical or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3–5+ years in electrical assembly, with 2+ years in a supervisory or senior role.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools, soldering irons, crimpers, and electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Technical Assembly & Testing: Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on sub-assemblies and units, following schematics and specs.
• Systems Integration: Integrate sub-assemblies into final hardware and perform final assembly of systems.
• Electrical Testing: Conduct basic electrical tests to verify functionality and compliance with quality standards.
• Rework & Refurbishment: Perform more complex rework and refurbishment of hardware and systems according to specifications.
• Quality Control: Conduct manufacturing inspections in accordance with quality specifications and ensure safety and compliance.
• Leadership & Training: Act as a technical lead for large-scale projects, mentor junior assemblers, and train on new processes or technologies.
