Coperion Process Solutions LLC in Whitewater, WI is seeking a Sr. Electrical Assembler to diagnose, repair, and rebuild electronics for customer requirements.

Typical schedule is 1st shift, Monday-Thursday 6 am–3 pm and Friday 6 am–Noon, with a 5S clean production environment and collaborative team. • Technical degree in electrical or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years in electrical assembly; 2+ years in a supervisory or senior role.
• Proficient with hand/power tools, soldering irons, crimps, and electrical testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Technical Assembly & Testing: wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing on sub-assemblies and units per schematics and specs.
• Systems Integration: integrate sub-assemblies into final hardware and perform system assembly.
• Electrical Testing: conduct basic electrical tests to verify functionality and quality standards.
• Rework & Refurbishment: perform complex rework and refurbishment per specifications.
• Quality Control: conduct manufacturing inspections per quality specs and safety standards.
• Leadership & Training: act as technical lead for large projects, mentor junior assemblers, train on new processes.
• Collaboration: work with engineering, quality, and PM teams to meet requirements.
• Documentation & Compliance: maintain logs, interpret docs, ensure ISO and electrical standards.

Shift 1 (United States of America) Coperion is currently seeking an Sr. Electrical Assembler to support our location in Whitewater, WI. The Electrical Assembler will support Operations by diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding electronics to support customer requirements. We have a 5S environment, very clean production floor and great people to work with! Schedule: 1st shift Monday-Thursday 6 am – 3 pm & Friday 6 am - Noon

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Assembly & Testing: Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on sub‑assemblies and units, following detailed schematics, blueprints, and specifications.
• Systems Integration: Integrate sub‑assemblies into final hardware and perform final assembly of systems.
• Electrical Testing: Conduct basic electrical tests to verify functionality and compliance with quality standards.
• Rework & Refurbishment: Perform more complex rework and refurbishment of hardware and systems according to specifications.
• Quality Control: Conduct manufacturing inspections in accordance with quality specifications and ensure compliance with safety and compliance standards.
• Leadership & Training: Act as a technical lead for large‑scale projects, mentor junior assemblers, and train on new processes or technologies.
• Collaboration: Work with engineering, quality, and project management teams to ensure designs meet business, quality, and timeline requirements.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate production logs, interpret technical documents, and ensure adherence to ISO and electrical industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Technical degree in electrical or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5+ years in electrical assembly, with 2+ years in a supervisory or senior role.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using hand and power tools, soldering irons, crimpers, and electrical testing equipment.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, communication skills, and ability to work independently and in teams.
