Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. based in Columbus, MS, seeks a Senior Electrical Aircraft Technician to join the final assembly line.

This temporary contract role focuses on fabrication, repair, and installation of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems in rotorcraft manufacturing and refurbishment. Expected duties include reading blueprints, following service manuals, and coordinating with leads on parts, tools, and schedules to ensure FAA-compliant workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of experience working on avionics in aircraft, preferably rotorcraft.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and diagrams for fabrication and repair.
• Read, write and speak English; familiar with aviation tooling and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems.
• Maintain relationships with lead personnel regarding schedules, parts availability and instructions.
• Work from blueprints and manuals to meet dimensions, tolerances and specification requirements.
• Ensure completed work complies with FAA regulations and customer requirements.
