Job summary

HOLT CAT in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced Sr Technical Communicator – Electric Power to support Power Systems Division. The role troubleshoots and provides technical assistance to sales, service, and parts, acting as liaison to Caterpillar on technical issues.

Will advance technical skills for Caterpillar Electric Power products and lead specialized systems across locations. The candidate will mentor junior staff, contribute to failure analysis, and ensure that technical service

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
Three or more years of related experience preferred.
Knowledge of Caterpillar power generation products is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and analyze product problems to support Parts, Service and Sales objectives.
Research product issues using CAT tools and troubleshooting skills.
Communicate accurate solutions in a timely manner.
Advise and report technical data to management to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain technical services tooling and library for key service functions.
Serve as liaison between company and Caterpillar to standardize technical service operations.
Provide mentorship to Technical Communicator and Technical Service Technician and maintain required Caterpillar certifications.
