Responsibilities

• Performs difficult and advanced journey level work in construction, maintenance, and repair of underground and overhead lines.
• Skilled technical work in installation, maintenance and repair of distribution lines; transformers and meters.
• Operates line trucks, bucket trucks, trenchers and excavators; assists in installing protective grounds and switching operations.
• Leads in installation, construction and repair of underground electrical systems and fault finding.
• Responds to work orders, participates in trouble shooting power outages and emergency repairs.
• Trains Technician I/II workers and supports safety procedures.
