job summary:
A Senior Electric Engineering Inspector is needed for a leader in the world of Technical Services and Engineering in the Spring Valley, NY area. This role entails overseeing a team of Electrical Engineering inspectors, coordinating multiple projects in various construction stages, ensuring OSHA compliance, documenting daily activities, and managing material coordination.

Location:

Spring Valley, New York

Job Details:

• Type: Contract
• Salary: $48.15 - 55.00 per hour
• Work hours: 8am to 4pm
• Education: Bachelors

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate multiple projects at different stages of construction, design, active construction, and closing documentation.
2. Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements.
3. Coordinate and document contractor manpower and material deliveries.
4. Document daily activities of contractor work, including any out-of-scope activities and associated costs.
5. Coordinate all materials issued, transferred, or returned to company storerooms and document all transactions.
6. Facilitate activities between contractors, subcontractors, local agencies, and company personnel.
7. Witness, approve, and document specified testing procedures such as transformer acceptance testing and concrete testing.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Computer literate, including expertise with Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) with typically 5+ years of related work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in electric utility projects including transmission, substation, and distribution.
• Experience in overhead and underground electric projects, environmental, and facilities.
• Skills: Electrical Engineering, Documentation Control, Substation.
• Experience level: Experienced
