Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking an Elastic Observability Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team. You will build and maintain a world-class Application Performance Monitoring solution, handling alerts, triage, and reliability of monitoring systems.

You will work with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Fleet, Elastic Agent, and Logstash to ensure data quality, dashboards, and proactive monitoring across platforms, collaborating with SRE, DevOps, and Security teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in observability, monitoring, logging, or IT operations.
• Hands-on Linux/Unix administration, patching, networking basics, LVM, and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Elasticsearch, Kibana, Fleet, Elastic Agent, APM, and Logstash.

Responsibilities

• Respond to alerts, ingestion issues, and user-reported incidents.
• Diagnose, document findings, and resolve or escalate.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Elasticsearch clusters, pipelines, and components.
• Maintain Kibana dashboards and create visualizations for platform monitoring.
