Job summary

Rockwell Automation seeks an Elastic Observability Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team. You will build and maintain a world-class Application Performance Monitoring solution, handling alert response, triage, and expansion to ensure monitoring remains healthy and reliable.

You will troubleshoot Elasticsearch, Logstash, Elastic Agent, and Fleet; develop dashboards, use Kibana, and contribute to runbooks and incident communications with SRE, DevOps, and Security colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to alerts, ingestion issues, and user-reported incidents.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Elasticsearch clusters, pipelines, Elastic Agent, Logstash, and Fleet.
• Use Kibana dashboards and queries (KQL/Lucene) for visibility and investigation.
• Collaborate with SRE, DevOps and Security teams; maintain runbooks and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to proactive monitoring.
