Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking an Elastic Observability Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team. You will build and maintain an enterprise monitoring solution, handling alerts, triage, maintenance and expansion to keep systems healthy and reliable.

You will work with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Fleet, and Logstash, participate in on-call rotations, create dashboards, and collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and Security to ensure data quality and rapid issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Respond to alerts, triage incidents and perform initial diagnosis.
• Document findings and resolve or escalate issues.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Elasticsearch clusters, pipelines, Elastic Agent, Logstash, and Fleet.
• Participate in the on-call rotation.
• Perform service restarts, ingestion validation, and configuration updates.
• Maintain Kibana dashboards and data visualizations.
• Collaborate with SRE, DevOps and Security to improve observability.
