Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc is seeking a Senior EIT 1 to work within our Transmission Power Delivery Sector. The successful candidate will engage in plans, designs, and reviews of transmission engineering tasks, collaborating with clients and professionals to deliver feasible, compliant designs.

The role requires 4+ years of related experience, a B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, and FE/EIT certification, with moderate travel expected. The position supports a hybrid workplace policy across the U.S.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related engineering experience.
• Bachelors or Masters in Engineering.
• Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and obtained engineer-in-training (EIT) certification.

Responsibilities

• Plans, designs, and facilitates Transmission engineer project design tasks.
• Undertakes technical and feasibility studies.
• Collaborates with other professionals and discusses requirements with clients.
• Uses computer programs to develop detailed designs.
• Ensures that work products meet client, environmental, and safety requirements.
• Performs work under professional engineering staff.
