Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking an experienced EHS Technical Consultant to join our Northeast regional team, supporting local and national clients. You will lead projects, manage scope and budgets, and mentor multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years of EHS/engineering consulting experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and a track record in regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and safety management.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading EHS projects and managing client expectations.
• Strong knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations and compliance planning.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical strategies for operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS consulting projects from proposal through delivery, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.
• Apply Woodard & Curran’s Project Management Framework to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
• Advise clients on environmental compliance, occupational health and safety, process safety management, hazardous materials, permitting, audits, risk assessments, and EHS management systems.
• Translate complex regulatory requirements into practical strategies that support safe, compliant operations.
• Serve as a primary client contact, building trusted relationships and understanding client goals.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and safety professionals.
• Support business growth through client development, proposal preparation, staffing coordination, and identification of new consulting opportunities
