Job summary

Compliance Management International (CMI) is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist in Harrisburg, PA. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of OH&S experience and a degree in the field, with credentials optional. You’ll develop training, conduct audits, and support safety programs across client sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Occupational Health and Safety experience.
• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline.
• One of the listed advanced safety credentials (CSP, ASP, OHST, CET, STS, STSC, ALCM, ARM, CPE, CDS, CTSP, CHMM).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a background check.
• Ability to stand/walk Prolonged periods and work at a computer.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize service requests to meet target dates and production goals.
• Develop and deliver health and safety training (in-person or via webinar).
• Conduct assessments, audits, and incident investigations per safety programs.
• Analyze data, prepare technical reports, and provide injury trend recommendations.
• Support injury/illness prevention, safety, industrial hygiene and AIPP compliance.
• Provide on-site health and safety support and transfer knowledge to agency staff.
• Collaborate with client teams to build relationships and promote a safety culture.
