Medial Group in Juncos, Puerto Rico, seeks an on-site EHS Specialist to support manufacturing operations and the EHS team, ensuring full compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety programs and regulatory standards across all sites.

You will develop and implement EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO guidance, perform risk assessments, lead incident investigations with CAPA closure, train new hires, manage action items in Enablon, and partner with operations to foster a proactive

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in EHS within regulated environments (medical devices, pharma, or manufacturing preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Support manufacturing operations and EHS team to ensure full compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs.
• Conduct EHS training and onboarding for new hires, including regulatory compliance requirements.
• Enforce EHS policies, procedures, and regulatory standards across operations.
• Support audits, including contractor compliance with EHS standards.
• Develop and implement EHS programs aligned with regulatory authorities (e.g., OSHA, EPA, ISO).
• Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies, including ergonomic improvements.
• Lead incident response and investigations (injuries, near-misses), ensuring timely and effective CAPA closure.
• Manage and track corrective and preventive actions within systems such as Enablon.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen safety culture and compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and leadership to promote proactive EHS practices.
