Job summary

Mentor Technical Group (MTG) seeks an EHS Specialist to support environmental, health, and safety compliance initiatives for a client in Juncos, Puerto Rico. The role involves ensuring regulatory adherence and fostering a safe, efficient work environment for site personnel.

The position requires travel across Puerto Rico, strong communication and documentation skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced consulting setting.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Engineering or Science required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in EHS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a safe and compliant environment through training, awareness, and adherence to regulations.
• Investigate incidents and prepare required reports and performance metrics.
• Maintain regulatory reporting and participate in inspections and corrective actions.
• Travel regularly to visit multiple client sites throughout Puerto Rico.
• Promote client relationships through professional conduct and clear communication.
