Job summary

HireLifeScience seeks an experienced EHS professional to lead and integrate compliant environmental, health, and safety programs at the West Point, PA site. You will work with operations and research to drive performance improvements aligned with site goals, with minimal supervision.

The role requires 5–8 years in industrial hygiene/pharma or biotech, strong regulatory knowledge, and excellent communication skills. Hybrid work is available with a focus on continuous EHS improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial hygiene, safety, chemistry, biology, or chemical engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5–8 years of industrial hygiene experience in pharma/biotech or related industry.
• Proficient knowledge of regulations, sampling methods, data analysis, and project management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Industrial Hygiene Program across labs, pilot plants, manufacturing, offices, and facilities.
• Identify health hazards and recommend control strategies to mitigate risks.
• Conduct IH hazard assessments, ergonomic evaluations, and incident investigations.
• Perform IH monitoring and prepare related reports with risk prioritization and CAPA support.
• Review processes and management of change documents for EHS compliance.
• Develop EHS procedures, guidelines, and training materials.
• Monitor safety KPIs and promote EHS policies and initiatives.
• Support incident and near miss analyses and training across client groups.
