Job summary

Client Company in Johnson City, Tennessee is seeking an experienced EHS&S Engineer to lead environmental, health, safety and security initiatives across multiple facilities in Eastern Tennessee. The role focuses on regulatory compliance and building a world-class safety culture in partnership with plant leadership.

You will drive ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 programs, conduct JHAs and risk assessments, and manage EHSS trainings while guiding continuous improvement across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental science, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT and local environmental regulations.
• Experience implementing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHSS programs across multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Develop and implement strategic EHSS initiatives to improve safety and compliance.
• Manage departmental budgets and safety improvement projects.
• Lead ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and continuous improvement.
• Conduct JHAs, safety observations, investigations and risk assessments.
• Deliver EHSS training for employees and leadership.
