Job summary
Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to lead a comprehensive safety program across operations in Ohio. You will partner with Operations leadership to weave safety into daily operations, using data-driven insights to reduce risk and drive productivity.
You will build and develop a high-performing WHS team, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and lead risk assessments, training, and audits to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years in EHS/environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service ops
- 5+ years in people and performance management
- Preferred: experience with 250+ site workforce
- Master’s degree
- Lean/process improvement experience
- Experience in fast-paced, dynamic orgs
- Certified Safety Professional
- Excellent written and verbal communication with site leaders
- Ability to develop and implement department goals and strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Lead a comprehensive WHS program, partnering with Operations leadership.
- Drive risk assessments and transform safety data into actionable strategies.
- Lead a high-performing WHS team and foster continuous improvement.
- Oversee recordkeeping, WHS training, and site audits to address non-compliance.
