Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to lead a comprehensive safety program across our Texas operations. You’ll partner with Operations leadership to embed safety into daily work and protect our people through data-driven risk reduction and continuous improvement.

You’ll build and develop a high-performing WHS team, lead site audits, and translate safety metrics into actionable strategies that balance safety with productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years EHS/environmental programs experience in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Certified Safety Professional preferred.
• Lean principles and process improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the WHS program and drive safety culture across operations.
• Build and develop a high-performing WHS team; mentor and coach.
• Partner with Operations leadership to integrate safety into daily operations and strategy.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and audits; drive corrective actions.
• Translate safety data into actionable strategies to reduce risk and improve productivity.
