Job summary

Antigua Group seeks an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to lead safety, health, and risk initiatives at the Peoria, AZ site. You will develop and implement robust programs and coordinate a Safety Committee to meet regulatory standards.

The role focuses on driving EH&S performance, ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental laws, and fostering continuous improvement within a manufacturing setting. In-person work is required with a strong emphasis on policy execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in occupational health and safety or related field.
• Strong environmental background with knowledge of EPA, ADEQ, and MCAQD regulations.
• Experience leading and executing projects in manufacturing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Position safety sensitive; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day EH&S department operations.
• Coordinate site Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability programs.
• Develop, strategize, and implement a long-term plan for the site(s) EH&S function.
• Partner with management to drive EH&S performance aligned with production goals.
• Develop and oversee a Safety Committee that evaluates hazards and risks.
• Create health and safety procedures for all departments and monitor compliance.
• Organize contingency plans including fire prevention and spill response.
• Establish inspection policies and schedules.
• Provide orientation sessions on emergency preparedness, confined spaces, electrical safety, and more.
• Maintain records of hazardous waste, emissions, and health monitoring per OSHA.
• Foster an environment promoting continuous improvement and compliance with laws and corporate directives.
• Ensure thorough root cause investigations for injuries.
• Generate compliance reports and keep documents updated.
