Job summary

HireVenture is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety programs in a food and beverage manufacturing setting. This senior role requires ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing workplace risk, and building a strong safety culture across operations.

You will drive audits, training, and performance metrics while collaborating with Operations, HR, Legal, and Engineering to advance sustainability and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive EHS experience, including 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience in manufacturing, preferably food & beverage.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ISO 14001/45001.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures per OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, and related regs.
• Lead audits, inspections, and corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Provide expertise in environmental compliance, hazardous waste, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and safety.
• Lead incident investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training for employees and leadership.
• Monitor EHS metrics and KPIs to identify trends and improvements.
• Maintain and test emergency preparedness and response plans.
• Partner with Operations, HR, Legal, Engineering to strengthen safety culture.
• Supervise and mentor EHS staff or site safety coordinators.
• Support sustainability initiatives and environmental disclosures.
