Job summary

DSJ Global seeks an experienced EHS Manager for our San Luis Obispo facility to lead environmental, health, and safety programs. You will drive regulatory compliance, process safety, employee training, and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with site leadership.

The role requires strong knowledge of CalARP, OSHA, and environmental regulations, with a focus on improving safety culture and operational excellence across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field and strong knowledge of EHS regulations.
• Experience with OSHA, DOT, and environmental reporting requirements.
• Minimum 6 years in chemical manufacturing or a similar sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead site EHS compliance programs, regulatory submissions, and reporting.
• Drive process safety programs and CAPA activities across the facility.
• Coordinate trainings, audits, and monthly safety meetings.
• Manage CalARP, air permitting, SPCC, SWPPP, and related regulatory programs.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
• Support site leadership and operations in maintaining safety culture and continuous improvement.
