Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead and design the implementation of environmental, health, and safety systems for the Data Center HVAC Service Team. This role is critical to ensuring a safety start-up and fostering a strong safety culture from day one in support of producing cooling and infrastructure solutions for data centers.

Travel is 40-50%. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in construction or industrial

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a construction environment, preferably HVAC or industrial equipment service/maintenance.
• Experience implementing quality systems (ISO 9001) and related standards.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA standards; NFPA 70E familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training for HVAC Service, Maintenance, Commissioning, and Controls Teams.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state/local environmental, safety, and health regulations.
• Lead job hazard analyses, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Create and deliver safety orientation and training for all new hires and contractors.
• Design and implement environmental management systems (e.g., waste handling, emissions reporting).
• Conduct audits, inspections, and corrective actions to drive a safe, compliant workplace.
• Partner with leadership to build a proactive, behavior-based safety culture.
• Maintain NFPA 70E compliance.

Required Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree inOccupational Health & Safety, Quality Management, orrelatedfield
• 5+ years of experience within aconstructionenvironment, preferably in HVAC,or industrial equipmentservice andmaintenance
• OSHA 500 & OSHA 510
• Experience implementing quality systems in a construction start-up or ramp up
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
• Other certifications or education considered: Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO), Certified Safety Manager – Construction (CSMC), or Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
