Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced EHS Leader to drive sustainability, safety and ESG strategy across its facilities in Texas and beyond. You will guide compliance programs, analyze data, and coordinate with Operations, Facilities and Leadership to align actions with business goals.

You will manage regulatory reporting, oversee incident investigations, and develop KPIs to monitor performance. The role requires 7–10+ years in EHS across high-hazard industries, strong OSHA/EPA knowledge, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in environmental field is required.
8+ years of EHS experience in logistics or high-hazard industries.
3+ years of supervisory/management experience in a team-focused environment.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT/PHMSA, RCRA, RMP, FIFRA and state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead sustainability, safety, and ESG strategy across multiple facilities.
Drive compliance with environmental regulations to minimize environmental impact.
Promote continuous improvement and track progress to meet targets.
Gain organizational support and communicate progress to key stakeholders.
Track environmental compliance metrics and develop risk-based actions.
Communicate with Operations, Facilities and Leadership on metrics and risks.
Assist with incident reviews and investigations of environmental spills and compliance.
Compile findings into summary reports and recommend corrective actions.
Provide insight on governance, risk management, and controls to reduce violations.
Liaise with external environmental regulatory agencies.
Develop, implement, and manage EHS KPIs.
Serve as the subject matter expert for OSHA compliance and incident investigations.
