Job summary

Ecolab is seeking an NA Manufacturing SH&E Manager II to lead safety, health, and environmental programs at the Greensboro, NC facility. The role drives SH&E metrics, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with site teams and global partners.

Responsibilities include leading safety training, policy development, process safety management, and environmental programs, with a strong emphasis on TRIR reduction and cross-functional impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or a technical/chemical engineering degree.
• 10 years of Safety experience.
• Demonstrated project management, coaching, training and mentoring skills.
• Effective leadership and interpersonal skills across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching and support to Ecolab site management teams, including both chemical and attached EC3 sites.
• Ensure reporting discipline within SH&E management systems, compliance audits, record-keeping, and other processes; responsible for SH&E leading and lagging metric rollup.
• Develop and analyze KPIs and metrics to focus on TRIR and Process Safety Tier ranking improvement; perform analysis and provide recommendations.
• Perform incident investigations and assist determining root cause and corrective actions.
• Review, evaluate, and analyze work environments and design programs and procedures to control risks.
• Ensure businesses conform to Ecolab Global SH&E Policies and federal/state regulations.
• Engage with SH&E Divisional Business Partners and safety champions for cross-functional support.
• Implement and deliver global SH&E training programs including Safety Leadership.
• Lead Life Critical policies, safety programs within ECAP scope for the site.
• Own environmental, waste, and water programs; manage AWS certification.
• Lead site's SHE Pillar and SHE Champion program, incorporating HOP into PCS.
