Apex Companies - CSW is seeking an experienced Occupational Safety Professional to lead safety projects at client sites, with a focus on shop floor exposure assessments, risk reduction, and program effectiveness. The role requires independence, strong communication, and timely delivery within budgets and schedules.

The position emphasizes a strong foundation in ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and OSHA regulations, with opportunities to advance and contribute to business growth in a national EHS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred – ideally in a science or engineering field.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in occupational safety / employee accident prevention.
• Desirable: ASP or CSP accreditation.
• Active Secret Security clearance highly preferred (or willing to obtain).
• Experience in manufacturing & assembly or aerospace/defense and automotive industries is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of shop floor hazard identification, job safety analysis, injury data analysis, machine guarding, fall prevention, lockout/tagout, confined space, PPE, safety meetings, and OSHA regulations.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive occupational safety consulting services to clients, including shop floor observations and risk ranking of employee exposures.
• Coordinate and execute industrial safety projects with project managers and stakeholders.
• Design, implement, and monitor an agreed service plan with the customer and report progress to stakeholders.
• Advise the customer on occupational safety issues and contribute to business development activities.
