Job summary

SAVI EHS is seeking a Senior Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead EHS strategy for a major hyperscale construction project in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This direct-hire role requires a senior safety professional who can advise project leadership and coordinate with owners, clients, contractors, and trade partners.

The successful candidate will bring a strong field-safety foundation and the leadership presence needed to represent the EHS function at the project and client level, with onsite

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of safety management experience.
• Senior leadership responsible for project-wide EHS performance.
• Experience managing EHS across multiple contractors and trade partners.
• Experience communicating directly with owners, clients, and executive leadership.
• Ability to work onsite in Tulsa for the project duration.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level EHS leadership across project operations.
• Act as primary EHS representative with owners, clients, and leadership.
• Establish project-wide safety expectations and standards.
• Lead site safety personnel and contractor safety reps.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and client EHS programs.
• Conduct field observations, audits, inspections, risk assessments.
• Review JHAs and safety plans for high-risk activities.
• Lead serious incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Track EHS metrics, leading indicators, and trends.
• Coach leadership and contractors in safety ownership.
• Support onboarding, safety meetings, training, initiatives.
