Job summary

OneSource EHS, LLC is seeking an Senior EHS Specialist in Gonzales, LA to develop and manage comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety programs ensuring OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory compliance. The role requires advanced experience in environmental management, including air, water, and waste permitting and auditing (Phase 1/2).

You will lead investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions while supporting IH activities.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety roles.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and leading root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state/local regulations and IH principles.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to understand processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility-wide EHS initiatives, policy development, and training programs.
• Provide environmental permitting and compliance support for air, water, and waste.
• Conduct Environmental Sampling and evaluations following regulatory protocols.
• Lead EHS incident investigations and develop corrective actions.
• Guide stakeholders in identifying actions to reduce risk.
• Assist in IH sampling and exposure assessments including noise/air monitoring.
• Participate in routine safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Support regulatory reporting activities and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
• Analyze EHS metrics and recommend improvements.
