Job summary

Chromalloy in Carson City, NV seeks a Senior EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, safety and compliance programs at our facility. You will oversee regulatory compliance, drive continuous improvement, and cultivate a strong safety culture while aligning with corporate standards and business goals.

The role requires 8+ years of EHS leadership in manufacturing, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to influence leaders across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of environmental, health, safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience implementing and maintaining EHS management systems and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement of the EHS Management System.
• Conduct EHS assessments and identify opportunities to improve safety performance and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for leaders and employees.
• Lead investigations of high-risk incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company EHS requirements and standards.
• Manage environmental programs including permits, wastewater, stormwater, waste management, and reporting.
• Serve as the site EHS subject matter expert and champion data-driven performance metrics.
• Collaborate with leadership to set annual EHS objectives and improvement plans.
• Partner with engineering, facilities, operations, HR to integrate safety/environmental requirements into processes and changes.
• Support industrial hygiene, medical management, return-to-work, sustainability, site security, and business continuity initiatives.
