Job summary

Cintas Corporation is seeking a Senior Counsel – Environmental, Health & Safety to provide in-house legal services with emphasis on EHS regulatory matters. You will lead compliance programs and advise operational management on policy execution across the enterprise.

You will manage EHS litigation, enforcement actions, and due diligence for transactions while serving as the primary internal liaison to the Deputy General Counsel. Significant travel to facilities is required.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to at least one U.S. state bar in good standing.
• Minimum of four (4) years of full-time EHS legal experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise on compliance with federal and state environmental regulations (CERCLA, RCRA, CAA, CWA, TSCA, OSHA).
• Manage EHS litigation and regulatory enforcement actions.
• Serve as internal liaison between field operations and Deputy General Counsel.
• Counsel on permitting, reporting obligations, remediation, and diligence for transactions.
• Collaborate to ensure OSHA compliance across facilities.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on operational impact.
• Oversee incident reporting and data analysis to drive safety initiatives.
