Job summary

Oradeo Limited is seeking a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Advisor for a tier-one construction contractor in Dublin. The role leads the implementation and monitoring of the EHS Management System across major sites, promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with standards.

You will work with site management, contractors and workers to drive inspections, report on weekly EHS findings, and support the project team in adopting best-practice safety.

Qualifications

• Recognised EHS degree or diploma, with a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Health & Safety roles.
• Previous construction industry experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EHS management systems, site compliance and safety procedures.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and database applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with site teams, contractors and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the company’s EHS Management System on the project.
• Promote a positive Health & Safety culture on site, working closely with site management, contractors and workers.
• Monitor EHS compliance across the site and carry out regular inspections.
• Prepare and issue weekly EHS inspection reports, highlighting areas for improvement and any non-compliance.
• Develop and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with the wider project team.
• Influence, support and coach the site team in implementing best-practice EHS standards.
