Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an EHR Applications Analyst 3 to deliver world-class support across its entities. You will lead development, testing, and go-live activities for EHR content and related systems, mentoring junior staff and coordinating issue resolution.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to work across clinical and IT teams, including on-call support and training input for projects.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience implementing, designing, and/or managing a variety of EHR and clinical systems using multiple software programs and network applications.
• Experience working in a clinical setting.
• Experience working with clinical information systems or system implementation teams for complex projects and/or application development.
• Experience in full implementation software development cycle.

Responsibilities

• Delivers work within established timeframes. Manages multiple large projects across IS.
• Defines, documents, builds, and maintains EHR content.
• Creates functional specification documents and validates with business owner.
• Mentors junior colleagues in application knowledge and process redesign.
• Performs thorough unit testing before handoff for testing.
• Facilitates functional and integrated testing as requested.
• Documents and reports system issues; communicates with vendors as needed.
• Provides end-user support during implementation and go-live.
• Addresses post-go-live issues and prioritizes tasks within project plans.
• Participates in on-call coverage as assigned.
• Prepares demo materials for workflow discussions.
