Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering.
• At least seven years of related professional experience in industrial hygiene, chemical or biological laboratory safety, hazardous waste, or hazardous materials.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to understand chemistry as it relates to EH&S.
• Working knowledge of Federal, State and Local EH&S regulations and the ability to interpret requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide EH&S support for interactive, rapidly evolving technical tasks.
• Secure permits and ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
• Conduct safety assessments, assign corrective actions, and follow up.
• Coordinate facility compliance inspections and programs.
• Develop EH&S programs, manage chemical inventories, SDSs, PPE, and hazardous materials.
• Perform internal audits to maintain Exponent's management systems.
