Job summary

Quality Consulting Group, LLC is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety professional to lead and support EH&S programs in a world-class manufacturing environment in Puerto Rico and the USA.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in EH&S, 2+ years of related experience, and strong knowledge of regulations, risk management, and capital-project support. Collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Facilities, and Quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or a related technical field
• 2+ years of directly related experience
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, manufacturing, construction, engineering, or another regulated industrial environment
• Knowledge of EH&S regulations, industry standards, and risk management principles
• Experience supporting capital projects and equipment installations
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and technical specifications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EH&S management systems
• Available for administrative shift, occasional nights or weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and support for EH&S programs
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EH&S regulations
• Develop, implement, and maintain EH&S programs and training
• Support regulatory inspections and prepare documentation
• Review drawings and project documentation for EH&S considerations
• Support MOC, PSSR, PSM, and other safety processes
• Assist with audits, inspections, and corrective actions
• Work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Cover shutdowns, startups, inspections, and related activities as required
