Job summary

Veg Group is hiring an EHSS Coordinator to support safety and compliance for capital projects in the pharmaceutical industry. The role involves coordinating Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS) activities and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has a degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience in EHSS roles, particularly in regulated environments. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work on-site in the eastern region of Puerto Rico.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting EHSS activities within regulated environments.
• Familiarity with EHSS procedures, safe work permits, hazard identification, and incident reporting.
• EHSS certifications or safety-related training are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support EHSS activities associated with capital projects and engineering initiatives.
• Coordinate project safety activities in alignment with applicable site procedures.
• Assist with coordination of toolbox talks, safety communications, and EHSS awareness activities.
