Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Research Industrial Hygiene Senior Specialist to lead IH, occupational health, and environmental safety programs within our academic and research environments.

You will partner with researchers, faculty, students, and leaders to identify hazards, evaluate exposures, and implement controls to maintain a safe, compliant research culture. This role requires collaboration across committees and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5 years of related minimum experience.
• Experience with industrial hygiene programs and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support industrial hygiene, occupational health, and environmental safety programs.
• Identify, evaluate and control workplace hazards in research environments.
• Develop and implement IH programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
