Job summary

Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Sr. Electrical, Electronic & Electromechanical (EEE) Components/Parts, Materials & Process (PM&P) Engineer to join our satellite-focused team in Irvine, CA.

You will ensure product lifecycle reliability, safety, and compliance with internal specs and customer contracts. Responsibilities include guiding design engineers, performing failure analyses, and coordinating with cross‑functional teams to mitigate reliability risks in space hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field with space hardware experience.
• 5+ years in electrical engineering, preferably aerospace.
• Experience in EEE parts engineering: reliability, obsolescence, parts libraries.
• Knowledge of MIL/NASA/ISO/ECSS/IPC standards.
• Ability to perform failure analyses and propose corrective actions.
• Experience leading RCCA investigations with cross‑functional teams.
• Knowledge of counterfeit parts/materials management and inspection methods.

Responsibilities

• Guide design engineers on EEE parts selection for reliability and manufacturability.
• Review EEE/PM&P contract requirements and identify gaps or risks.
• Evaluate part reliability, safety, and value in designs.
• Interface with customers on parts, materials, and process requirements.
• Coordinate reliability risk mitigation with supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing.
• Perform EEE/PM&P failure analyses and generate corrective actions.
