Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Hardware Electrical Rework Lab Technician to perform high-precision board-level rework and assembly on next-generation electronics prototypes.

You will work within the Sensing Hardware team, collaborating with engineers while maintaining a safe, organized lab environment. Responsibilities include managing rework requests, validating electrical integrity with DMMs, and advising engineers on optimal processes and components.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in high-precision electronic circuit board manual assembly and rework in R&D or lab settings.
• Proficient hand-soldering and rework of BGA/LGA/QFN and fine-pitch components under a microscope.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-precision board-level rework, PCB modifications, and assemblies per schematics.
• Conduct QC and electrical validation with test equipment to verify functionality.
