Job summary

Cambium Learning Group seeks a Senior UX Research & Design Specialist to lead end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research within our K-12 platforms. You will translate findings into high-fidelity mockups and interactive UI prototypes, bridging educator insights with production-ready web design.

You will collaborate with front-end designers, refine interface hierarchy, and ensure accessible, data-driven dashboards for teachers and administrators across Learning A-Z, ExploreLearning, Voyager

Qualifications

• 7+ years of dedicated professional experience in UX research, interface design, or digital analytics architectures.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, CS, or related field.
• Mastery of UI wireframing and prototyping ecosystems (e.g., Figma).
• Ability to present research artifacts (personas, journey maps, insight decks) to technical squads and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research cycles with teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators.
• Perform market and competitive analysis to identify positioning opportunities for platform features.
• Translate educator feedback into clear product design opportunities and UI prototypes.
• Collaborate with front-end designers to map design specs to web structure and developer handoffs.
• Evaluate layout sequences and navigation for accessibility and clarity.
• Build dashboards and visual data displays tailored for teachers and administrators.
