Flow Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Content & Editorial Marketing Writer to own Flow's editorial voice and decide what we publish, from long-form essays to customer stories and launches.

You will interview engineers, work with our CEO, and turn technical insights into writing that engineers trust. You’ll shape recurring formats, optimize for search, and help grow Flow’s audience through clear, specific, and accurate storytelling.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional writing experience in content marketing, journalism or editorial.
• Able to explain complex technical topics clearly.
• Curious and credible with engineers and executives.
• Experience using AI tools for writing and evaluating AI outputs.
• Self-driven with ability to pitch ideas and publish consistently.
• Low ego and collaborative, open to feedback.
• Prefer writing over managing.
• Ability to build recurring formats and series.

Responsibilities

• Own the editorial calendar: decide what Flow publishes when and why.
• Define Flow's editorial voice and style with clarity and accuracy.
• Write long-form essays, guides and perspectives on hardware.
• Interview engineers at leading orgs and turn findings into stories.
• Create recurring formats like customer field stories and explainers.
• Draft launch content for Flow releases and product pages.
• Help leaders publish bylines and posts in their voice.
• Grow audience via SEO and AI-answer visibility from outset.
• Use AI to speed up research and drafting without lowering standards.
