Job Description

POLITICO is seeking a senior editor and producer to play a key role in our North American social media team — to help expand the reach of our journalism, connecting with new audiences across a variety of formats and platforms. This role is focused on off-platform growth. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in growing our social audiences in strategic ways that drive our business goals, bringing social best practices to the newsroom and partnering with newsroom leaders to scale our social channels' impact. This person will also be key in building the brand across key platforms and assessing new opportunities as they arise. The Supervising Editor will manage a small team of DC-based social producers working with text, video, and images.
