Job summary

M+C Saatchi Group in New York seeks a Senior Editor who blends storytelling with deep post-production expertise across film, digital, social and integrated campaigns. You will partner with agency teams and clients to shape editorial direction and deliver compelling content from concept to delivery.

You will mentor junior editors, champion best practices for media workflows, and explore new technologies to raise quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional editing experience in agency, studio, production company, network, or brand environment.
• Exceptional storytelling and narrative editing skills demonstrated through a strong portfolio or reel.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Responsibilities

• Edit a wide range of content including brand campaigns, documentaries, social content, experiential work, digital content, and integrated marketing initiatives.
• Craft compelling narratives that elevate creative concepts through pacing, structure, music, performance, and visual storytelling.
• Serve as an expert user of Adobe Creative Cloud, with advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition.
• Prepare and manage offline editorial workflows for seamless handoff to online finishing, color grading, sound design and mix, VFX, and delivery teams.
• Evaluate emerging creative technologies, software, AI tools, and post-production solutions and help establish best practices for media management and project organization.
