Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years' journalism experience including breaking news across platforms.
• At least one year of experience as an editor.
• Experience with digital content management systems.
• One or more years supervising and mentoring employees.

Responsibilities

• Assigns and edits news stories, features and two-ways for on-air and digital platforms.
• Guides reporters in juggling breaking news and enterprise reporting.
• Collaborates with digital and multimedia teams on stories.
• Identifies stories KUT should cover and leads newsroom planning.
• Runs news meetings and supervises reporters to develop skills.
