Job summary

Tamara Group in New York is seeking an Editor to shape raw footage into compelling, branded content for VaynerX and Tamara Group clients. You’ll collaborate with directors, producers, and agency creatives to deliver broadcast-ready and digital-first pieces that meet client goals.

The role emphasizes strong storytelling, attention to detail, and proficiency in Premiere Pro, with experience in After Effects, Resolve, and cross-platform delivery. Hybrid environment with an office at Hudson Yards.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of experience editing commercial or branded content.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro (primary), with working knowledge of After Effects and Resolve.
• Strong narrative instincts and editorial rhythm.
• Excellent eye for performance, pacing, and visual composition.
• Familiar with multi-platform delivery requirements (broadcast, digital, social, OLV).
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent communication skills.
• Experience with tools such as Frame.io, Dropbox, LucidLink, Slack, Google Drive.

Responsibilities

• Edit commercials, branded content, sizzle reels, social spots, and case studies.
• Work with directors, producers, and agency creatives to execute editorial vision.
• Interpret scripts, storyboards, and selects into compelling visual stories.
• Manage media organization, syncing, versioning, and editorial timelines.
• Handle multiple deliverables per project, including cutdowns, social formats, and revisions.
• Implement client and internal feedback with a solutions-first mindset.
• Collaborate with motion, sound, color, and VFX teams during post.
• Prep timelines for finishing, including online conform and delivery.
• Maintain proper file management and data backup workflows.
